Twake Mail - Spam
This guide explains how Twake Mail detects spam and how you can help improve spam detection by marking emails correctly.
How Anti-Spam Works
- Anti-Spam feature in Tmail is designed to classify the messages as spam or not with an configurable score threshold.
- Usually a message will only be considered as spam if it matches multiple criteria; matching just a single test will not usually be enough to reach the threshold.
- When a message is classified as spam, it will automatically moved to user's Spam folder
- Spam classification is handled per user. This means your spam actions help Twake Mail adapt to your mailbox and your preferences.
Train Anti-Spam Detection
You can help Tmail improve spam detection by marking emails as spam or not spam.
Mark an Email as Spam
Use Mark as spam when an unwanted or suspicious email appears outside the Spam folder.
To mark an email as spam:
- Open the folder that contains the email.
- Select the email or open it.
- Open the email actions menu.
- Select Mark as spam.
Or select multipe email from listing email then click Unspam
The email is moved to the Spam folder and reported as spam. This feedback helps Twake Mail recognize similar unwanted emails in the future.

Mark an Email as Not Spam
Use Not spam when a legitimate email was incorrectly placed in the Spam folder.
To mark an email as not spam:
- Open the Spam folder.
- Select the legitimate email or open it.
- Open the email actions menu.
- Select Remove from Spam or Unspam
This feedback helps Tmail understand that similar emails should not be treated as spam for you.

Use Custom Filtering Rules
You can also create filtering rules to control how specific emails are handled.
For example, you can create a rule to move emails containing certain keywords to the Spam folder.
Rules are useful when you want predictable handling for repeated messages from the same sender or with the same content pattern.
